Restoration of Traditional institutions with Modern Science.
Arthashastra suggest King must use the available technology to help in the survival of People.
Indian rulers from MahaJanapada to Hindavi Swarajya aka Maratha Empire all were tech savvy and wanted to integrate the technology without destruction of existing institutions or as an upgrade to the existing system.
Thus society was never against technology.
Point here is today’s portrayal of intellectuality and old institutions as antagonists to each other is where the problem starts.
Thus for the revival of strong society all we needed was the institutions to survive adaptation of Technology with same humane nuances.
