Golden age
The wheel of time that moves both up and down for any Civilization. Civilization that’s internally resilient can grow and stay strong during the time of decline.
Thus any civilization to sustain long must follow the systems that are resilient mechanisms that are built during the Golden era.
Japan still follow the linguistic fundamentals of Heian period and the hereditary system that still keeps succession and nation intact.
China though communist still follow the centralized Bureaucracy of Tang Dynasty and Gaokao is refined exam from Sui and Tang Dynasty era to recruit civil servants which spilled to modern day examinations.
The golden era of India which falls commonly on Gupta Empire where the fundamentals laid by the civilization get amplified and evolve into strong institutions. Like scribing of texts that were recited by Guru Sishya Parampara.Here the establishment of University and individual Gurukulas both thrived together. Thus Individuals had their own way to contribute for larger good.
Economically temples served as centre for decentralised learning. Imbibing civic sense through Dharma and Dhanda(Punishment by Fine and servitude) are the lessons that can be provided to people even today.
Temples investing in business for the community and community inturn donating to temples are very much part of an institutional investment and local buffer. Thus such systems can be refined with modern system will bring sustainable growth.
Thus adapting from traditional values to modern sense will bring the cushion.
Economy should adapt technology still keeping it’s Golden era resilience and time tested mechanism will bring the best of all.
