Finding Solution from the Past for the future.
For the nation to have a strong National Consciousness and National Character they need lessons from History. The history as told by the natives.
Thus for a nation to keep it’s institutions intact and strong fundamentals with changing times.
The Megasthanes on his visit to India found that Nation as per his document was ” Indians as a self-sufficient, prosperous people characterized by their truthfulness, lack of slavery, and division into seven distinct social classes.”
This continued till the early Medieval era. Later with Invasion the fear and greed began to dominate the society which led to decay and led to lack of morals with foreign rule when survival is norm that idea was passed to generations that survival matters over larger good.
When all began to fight for scarce resources humans will fight not collaborate. With systems standing up and the collapse of old time tested order.
Thus when revival the habit of greed and fear will hurt. For a society that faced the fear and greed for years and internalized it longer will take lots of time to get away from it. Unless and until they realise the change is real.
Thus for the revival of India as super power one must look into the system of its great era of Gupta Empire followed by Nuances of Cholas, Chalukya,Pratihara,Palas, Vijayanagara and Hindavi Swarajya aka Maratha Empire and the system they followed.
Example: Pandit Rama Sastri the Nyayadhish of Hindavi Swarajya during Empire’s confederacy era in Pune. He found Peshwa Raghunath Rao Guilty after declaring him Guilty he left the town because for him survival of the Swarajya matters over justice. He came back once when Barabhai members under Nana Fadnavis deposed Peshwa Raghunath Rao and bought Sawai Madhava Rao as Peshwa.
Thus a nation must understand the Value of Justice at the same time a fundamental needs not only justice sometimes a broader understanding of prevailing circumstances.
For a Nation to have Consciousness and Character it must focus on building morals and awareness to circumstances.
